Any time I try to stream video through the browser, it crashes.

My apps browse without any problems, but there are live streams I can only watch through the browser (mainly sports). Is there something I have to add to relieve the pressure on Chrome, so it's able to handle streams, because anything browser-based (other than PBS.com) isn't working?

    Thanks.

I just streamed the Indiana vs. Ohio State basketball game today from cbssports.com and it streamed perfectly, try that site. If that site works, let me know a site that won't stream. I don't do anything special other than running Smart RAM Booster to keep RAM clear but I believe that is very important.

Actually, yeah, CBSSports.com and WatchESPN were fine, too. I do already have Smart RAM, but -- actually -- I had no problem streaming NBA games on Wednesday and Thursday night after getting the Co-Star, but upon downloading Smart RAM on Friday, I've had problems.

Is there an app that gathers live feeds well? Everything I've tried just takes me to the browser.

On the Revue some users report improvement with shockwave crashes by going to settings and deleting all the stored sites from the Adobe Flash settings. Also set the Adobe Flash Global Storage Settings panel to "Unlimited" and do the same for the Adobe Flash Website Storage panel.

It might be a good idea to reboot your device and clear browsing history before you start streaming a game.

Also close any other open windows before you start streaming the game.

Thanks. I've cleared history before trying and had the same problems. How do I get to the Flash settings?

On my Revue I go to Chrome settings (menu key) -------> Settings -------> Advanced Settings ----------> Under The Hood -------> Adobe Flash Storage settings (it's right on the top of the page)

AWESOME! Thanks a ton. That's exactly what I was looking for!

In general, I have problems with CNN.com being choppy, and all apps redirect to the browser. Hopefully that becomes fixed as well.

How often should I be deleting the stored sites?

    Hi

You should see a place to checkmark if memory serves where you can stop sites from being added.

Just tried ESPN3 on my Logitech Revue (OS 3.1). It's working good and I was watching the Live women's tennis match. My internet provider is Comcast Xfinity. At the top of the Watch ESPN page is says "Powered By Xfinity".

Question: Are the crashes occurring during or right after the ads? I find the programs w/ads are what causes Adobe Flash crashes almost every time. As soon as I see an ad coming I hit reload from the Menu. Usually by the time the video reloads the commercials are over. But sometimes I reload to encounter another crash. We really need an App.

Btw, I watched the whole Australian Open between my cable box and ESPN 3. Not one crash. I tried to watch Friday Night Fights which have commercials between each round. Crashed every time.

    Really annoying...
