    What channels are you all hoping to see available for this.

    a couple of mine in no particular order.....

    spike
    animal planet
    discovery
    history
    tru tv
    hgtv

    I mainly watch football and CNBC -- that's it. The rest is movies, mainly Netflix.

    I want all NFL games, all college games, and to be able to watch any network series on demand!

    Maybe I have been misinformed, but I think the channels you get are up to you and the package you have from your Cable or satellite provider. Google TV is not a stand alone box, it is a box that works in conjunction with your Cable or Satellite box. It is designed so that you connect your providers box to it via HDMI then connect it to the TV. It then provides control of your box as well as a customized UI. Google TV will also provide access to Netflix, Amazon, and other streaming video services through apps. Some networks are also getting behind Google and creating custom websites that are optimized for TV viewing. I wouldn't expect the list of optimized websites to be very long at launch.

    hmmmmmm....... If this is the case, then Direct Tv better get its butt in gear...

    I just switched from Comcast Cable to Dish network. Google TV integration was one of my deciding factors.
