I just bought a Sony nsz-gt1. I do not have a cable provider. Can I still hook it up somehow? Also, can I hook it up to a regular TV (one that just has the regular a/v cable connection)? I mainly just want to use it to watch blu rays at the moment. Thanks!

    Hi

You can hook it up to any HDTV that has HDMI input. By regular TV, if you mean analog or any TV that isn't HDMI capable, no. But you can hook up the unit w/out a cable box. But to view either OTA or basic cable channels you will need to use your HDTV's built in tuner. If using an AV Receiver w/HDMI or a TIVO, you should have more control over channels via these devices.
