OK, need a bit of help here. I have a Hisense Vision Google TV I've had it for about a week, now and not many problems. I've install a ton of app on it, and I decided to do a factory reset, to clean it up after finding a set up I like. Now here's the problem. I'm setting up my tv provider, and when it get to choosing the line up for my area, I get this message "unable to obtain a list of lineups for your location" "Check your network connection and try again" I've checked the connection and have tried again, for the last two days, and it's still not getting past the lineup phase. I've asked GTV friends to see if they are having the problem too. They are getting the same problem too. I've restarted the Dish Joey, the GTV, and the router. nothing else to restart. I've also checked the play store, and Chrome. they are working just fine. Anyone have any idea on how to get around this and set up the Joey so that I can at least change channels. Has anyone heard of any Google network outages, and when it might be fixed. I've thought about hooking up my Revue to see if I can duplicate it, but haven't gotten around to it yet. Thanks is advance
This issue can occur if you are connected to an unsecured wireless network, such as a Guest network. Make sure you are connected to a secured Wi-Fi network (indicated by a lock icon) in the Wi-Fi settings list. Try resetting router/modem, powering it up and then powering up your computer and then your Hisense GTV.
The GTV is hard wired to the network, I've tried to connect to wireless, just in case, but still no go. For grins, full power cycle of my network, and I did another factory reset. still nothing.
