Bright House Networks TV app: Bright House Networks launches TV app - OrlandoSentinel.com (click for full article)

"Bright House Networks customers with wireless Internet connections at their homes can now stream television programming, including local channels, on their Apple and Android mobile devices.

The cable giant launched the free Bright House TV app Thursday and customers can watch local Central Florida channels, as well as HBO, Cinemax, Showtime, The Movie Channel, A&E, Discovery, Lifetime, Cartoon Network, SyFy, CNN, Disney Channel, TLC, History, Travel Channel, USA, AMC and other channels from their devices anywhere inside their homes.

iPhone and iPad users can download the app from Apple's App Store. Android users will find the app in Google Play. Only Android devices running Google's latest operating system, Ice Cream Sandwich, can access the app.

Customers log into the app using their Bright House Networks My Services credentials. The channels on the app are based on those customers already receive at their homes."
