I have direct tv connected to revue w/ hdmi, connected to denon avr-1612 w/hdmi, connected to lg tv w/ hdmi. 2 front speakers, and a center channel. Tv works fine. Anything like Pandora, netflix, etc fron revue I only get the right speaker. Help!

Assuming connection as follow, STB > HDMI > Revue > HDMI > AVR > HDMI > TV

    On the AVR side,
1- From AVR remote control, set 'Direct listening mode' to [DIRECT]

2- From the AVR 'System Setup' press [AMP] > [MENU] > HDMI Audio Out > set to "AMP" ( Not "TV")

3- From the AVR 'System Setup' press [AMP] > [MENU] > Auto Surround > set to "ON" (Not "OFF")

4- Since you are only using 3 speakers(3 ch speakers), disable (manually) the rest of the speakers (total of 5)

    • From the AVR 'System Setup' press [AMP] > [MENU] > 'Speaker Setup' > Speaker Config. > select the speaker & set it to 'None' - Set the presence of a subwoofer to 'NO'
    • Disable -- > SL Surround speaker (L) - SR Surround speaker (R) - SBL Surround back speaker (L) - SBR Surround back speaker (R) - subwoofer

5- If not, you may try to connect an Optical Digital Audio cable from Revue to AVR! and set Revue to 'Dolby Digital' - see how to (click the link) --> #12 - Audio

    Nice AVR! Btw

    Good Luck!

Thanks for the detailed post! Unfortunately, still just the right channel. Optical cable? Seems like it should be straight forward with hdmi, especially since watching tv works fine, and it passes through the revue. Thanks again!
