What apps do you want on google TV? I want:
    1. Vudu app - can't beat the 99 cent movies
    2. Firefox - love the tabs and ad block
    3. OnLive - real gaming

I know this sounds silly, but I want the "Task / Window Manager" from Android 2.1 (Eclair), I thought that was to most helpful component next to application and keyboard shortcuts that "got lost" in Android 3.1 (Honeycomb).

    Otherwise.

    1. Hulu Plus
    2. Slingplayer for TV
    3. Vudu
    4. CinemaNow
    5. Blockbuster OnDemand
    6. Amazon Instant Video
    7. AIM instant Messenger
    8. LogMeIn (Remote PC client)
    9. SSH/Telnet Server & Client (Secure Shell/Terminal)
    10. RDP Client (Remote Desktop Protocol)
    11. Qmobile (QNAP NAS client)
    12. An app to blind people with a projector (inside joke)

NHL Gamecenter (a GTV version - for some reason chrome is faster at surfing but slower @ video webapp in 2.0)
The Old "Whats On" App - it was so much faster than new one and I prefer text (with thumbs) over full covers for all but movies - really I would like to have both
TV Shows Fav (a GTV version - the widget would be very useful alone (it works but is limited in size) - my tivo is always preferencing my wife's shows over mine - this would tell me the shows I missed)
Boxee or XBMC (plex is ok but these are so much better)
Amazon Streaming App (not the crappy web not much of an app)

Also I would like a ticker app (i.e. like the espn type tickers at the bottom of the screen) that is customizable to the feeds I specify...

I second XBMC app - If GTV continues to suck, I will most likely ditch my GTV and go with a PC loaded with XBMC
Universal Sports App - Would love to be able to watch content on the UniversalSports.com website with GTV. Content only available with Micosoft silverlight update

I fear that the first GTV will be like the first Nook Color. No one ever made any worthwile apps for the first version of the Nook Color.

Tunein app similar to android app.

Squeezeplayer to allow my GTV to become a slim device

I dunno CM7 and the entire Android ecosystem seems like a pretty good app

Your GTV will never become a slim device, it consumes way too much television.

MovieBrowser HD (currently for Tablets) would be super! That or a similar application that can organize my personal/downloaded media (movies mostly). Custom thumbnail and subtitle support is what I'm kind of looking for. Maybe even downloading metadata from supported sites like IMDB....and a native player would nice, but the option to assign/launch one of my choice is just fine.

I've been trying to find a way to download the apk file, so I can side-load it on my Revue and test it out. I also searched through bittorrent sites. Any help??
