    Hello,
I've been reading about xbmc where several versions have LiveTV interface (links) which they maintain to keep the links current. HBO, Showtime, and the major TV networks; and I've also heard that it's legality is being challenged. Below is just a primer of what I got wind of.

PLEX, FRODO, OPENELEC, Roku/Boxee Versions ?
    After installing XBMC, install NAVI-X?
Download the live streams (HBO) add-on by diving mule?

Any apps or pointers would be appreciated; and thanks in advance.

FilmOn is a legal site albeit it's a bit controversial. They have live feeds for NBC, CBS, and ABC plus a lot of other supplementary type channels. No HBOGo though. From what I understand they use lots of individual antennas (similar to what Aereo is doing) to make it legal. The networks sued to try and get it shut down - but thus far a judge ruled to let it stay up.

The SD feeds are free - and they also have a subscription plan for HD feeds. It works good with my Logitech Revue. I have tried both their web site (with GTV chrome browser) and their android app. I actually prefer using the web site instead of the app. I'll post links for both so you can see which way you like better:

Watch Streaming Movies and live TV in HD. Watch Football and Compare us to Hulu, Zattoo and TVCatchup. (click for FilmOn web site)

    * Well I just went to Google Play Store and now I notice it is saying that the FilmOn app is incompatible with my Logitech Revue. It used to be compatible with my Revue so they might of made a change. Also my Revue is on OS 3.1 (the previous update) - so I'm not sure if the app is currently compatible with the Vizio Co-Star. But anyway everything available in the app is also available on their web site with Chrome browser - and IMO the web version functions better.

I just installed the FilmOn app on a Sony NSZ-GT1 so I am sure it is also compatible with the Logitech Revue, at least with most recent firmware update. I can't make any sense of the service really, bunch of nonsense channel names in the guide and I couldn't find anything I considered worth watching.

Unfortunately no variant of the XBMC app will work with GTV (yet). The XBMC builds are based on NDK (Native Development Kit) - which GTV does not support at this time.

The XBMC builds will function with some Android TV devices - but not GTV.

Interesting. I looked at the web site and I gather that their server must be downloaded to a windows computer in order to use this? I don't have a computer so I can't test it.

I just tried downloading the Spoon console (plug-in) on my Logitech Revue. It doesn't work. Are you saying that this works on your Vizio Co-Star?

I haven't tried hardly anything with it yet (still researching options).

In Google 'SpotLight" app there's a channel there called AllIn One (AIO) TV that has live TV streams from so many different Tv Stations.
I also Use PlayOn and it has tons of different PlugIn channels from independent developers with everything from NFL to Premier league and cinemax etc.
Oh and there are lotsa forums for Playon channels on google search too.
Playon though is not free you have to have the premium app to get them to work.

The Navi-X for Google TV would be my recommendation.
