This app works with the Google TV Chrome browser? I would be very surprised if it does.

    GTV doesn't support Chrome extensions.

The android app might work on GTVs with the Jellybean update - but it probably won't work with the GTV devices on Honeycomb OS.

Other than that there are adblockers that will work at the router level.

OpenDNS is an adblocker that works at the router level.

The app loads and runs on the LG, but...(you knew that was coming) to configure Adblock you have to change proxy settings and open port 2020, which isn't possible to do in the LG's settings (or I just can't find it). Maybe somebody else can give it a try. I might just be missing something

Is this any help? If this could be gotten to work, it would speed up the device considerably, wouldn't it? (Frequently, the cursor on a webpage won't work until all advertisements have loaded.)

"...the most common place for the proxy settings is in the advanced WiFi settings."

Unfortunately, when I enter network settings> long press on connection< modify connections, I don't get a "Show advanced options" option. The only choices I can select are "show password" and DHCP or static
