I see it says in working apps that the Flash 11 app works. How does it work? I mean I can install it just fine. But, Chrome still uses its baked in version. No other browser seems to know flash 11 is installed.

Can anyone explain why bother installing Flash 11?

    Thanks all

As far as I know there is no way to make it work with GTV by downloading it on your own.

Hopefully in the future Google will provide it as part of an OS update.

You shouldn't bother at all. That's why the app isn't normally accessible through the Android Market for Google TV and you had to sideload it. The main issue is that version was developed for the Android Tablets and Phones not for Google TV. Not only do they use different processors but their implementation is completely different. That's why you shouldn't even bother trying to "upgrade or install Flash", because the version on Google TV can only be upgraded with the operating system updates.
