Someone on this forum (I think) wrote an app which allows us to place apps on the home page.

I had used it on my old Revue box but can't seem to find it now.

    Any ideas?

I wrote instructions in how to use MultiCon to place app shotcuts in the widget area of the Android 3.1 (Honeycomb) update's home screen. But, I didn't write the actual app. The thread is here, "http://www.googletvforum.org/forum/google-tv-apps/4419-how-use-multicon-google-tv.html"

    Maybe my terminology is incorrect.

I took a look at my old Revue box and the 'app' I was looking for is called 'gAppsLauncher'.

Not sure how this is different from MultiCon.

Oh! I also use gAppsLauncher, so that could have been me as well. That app creates a widget where the buttons launches web applications made by Google. However as I've used it so far, it only does this for Google Web based apps. MultiCon will allow you to create and customize widgets that launches Android apps which are installed on your Android Device, as well as some shortcuts and other actions.
