Google should be ashamed and embarrassed about how primitive their Chrome browser is on GTV. Besides its generalt clunkiness, the lack of extensions (most specifically, Flash Blocker) make the browser susceptible to click-jacking and all kinds of unintended, involuntary browser-pointing.

One can get "under the hood" and disable Flash altogether, but that makes videos inaccessible altogether.

The ability to block Flash on a case by case basis -- like users can do with Chrome and Firefox on conventional computers -- would really make GTV more useful.

    Netscape 2.0 seems more advanced.

I'm a newbie to GTV (got in with Asus Cube)...
Yes, this has shocked me to learn that the chrome on GTV is not the same on my computer!! :( and that there is no support for adblock (or such) natively
One of the reasons I got GTV was to be able to watch sports streams and I just cannot do that with annoying ads!!
