REDRAY Has Arrived
It seems like they all working on 4k contents (native, upscaling & delivery), i.e.,
- Netflix demonstrated a possible streaming solution for 4K, at the 2013 CES.

- Sony has a native 4K distribution network in the works. Also released "mastered in 4K" Blu-ray discs that sourced in 1080p & upscaled back to 4K.
- Upscale non-4K resolution content to near-4K quality (THX-certified ICC Purios engine) - Sharp "AQUOS UHD,"
I think upscale (upconverts) to 4K (UHD/ULtra HD/2160p) via player or the TV-set is good start. However, the questions will always be, who dose it better? how much/size?
Lets see if 8k monitors hit the market this year...
