Hi guys, searched and searched, but came up empty handed,
Im guessing since this set is so new that dont have a way to get into service menu yet?

Also, Can anyone explain the trumotion settings at all?

I know this sounds strange, but i'm looking to get the MOST soap opera effect
    Possible.

    Thanks!

well since the service menu is a menu only intended for technicians, i would not expect a way to get into it. if you do you could change something that could brick the TV and that would not be covered under the warranty.

well to get the most soap opera effect just turn trumotion all the way up. you can try adjusting the trumotion setting manually and you may get the best results that way.

Like Fomol620 said if you brick your TV by going into the service menu you could void your warranty. But if you still want to try it here is a web site with some instructions:

Thanks for the heads up gentlemen.

part of the reason why I was interested in getting into the service menu was the fact that on this model
there are only 3 trumotion settings,
    smooth
    clear
    off
    user

There is no real explaination of the "clear" vs "smooth" for instance.,
I was curious is there may be additional settings in there.

It seems as if this set may have a different way to get into the service menu.
I actually was on the link provided last night.
Methods 1-3 didnt work, but i didnt try the last one yet.

    Thanks for all your assistance!

i wouldnt expect those methods to work as they would be for "LG" TV's and not Google TV's. those methods involve not only how the hardware is built but also how the Software (OS?) is built as well. so i would expect those methods to work with LG smart TV's not Google Smart TV's.

So I think I dont need to go into any service menu to make any settings.
    Heres the deal,
I was almost thinking about returning this tv set last night, I bought it on amazon.
I have a overall TERRIBLE picture quality on it.

BUT!, its not the TV at all, the issue is my terrible regional Cable provider.
The HD must be upconverted and low bit rate.

I popped on Netflix and played a few movies in their new "Super HD"
    and everything looks AMAZING!

Now I just need to pick up a blue filter and a calibration video to get the settings nailed down.

This is a great tv, Now Google needs to get on the ball with more content, and we need to get ROOT!
    :)
